What is Parallel Lives?
Parallel Lives is a free browser life simulator by GGC. Make 12 choices from childhood to old age, revisit a turning point, and compare different paths from the same fictional beginning.
Can I play without downloading an app?
Yes. Play in a modern desktop or mobile browser. No account or app download is required. One life takes about five minutes, depending on your reading pace.
Can I change an earlier decision?
After reaching the ending, select a turning point and take another road. Your starting circumstances and outside moments stay the same, so you can see what your choices change.
Is it free? What costs US$4.99?
The current 12-chapter story, branching replay, story card and journal exports are free. The US$4.99 Founder Edition is a planned one-time purchase for three additional themed stories and a keepsake journal. Online checkout is not open yet.
Does it predict my future or simulate real country statistics?
No. The people, places, events and scores are fictional. This is an authored choice-driven story with a seeded rules engine, not a prediction, clinical service or statistical model of the world.
Where is my progress saved?
In this browser on this device. English and Chinese share progress on the same domain. Clearing site data, changing device or changing domain can remove access to that save. Download a journal to keep a copy.
